Wine, Women & Fishing is held each year by the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation with proceeds benefiting the Eastern Virginia Medical School breast cancer research efforts. WWF has raised more than $180,000.000 for EVMS. The tournament is followed by a party highlighted by music from Guava Jam!

About the Tournament:

Women of all levels of fishing expertise are invited to participate in the 10th Annual CBWCF sponsored tournament. Registration and the Captains Meeting are on Saturday night, August 18th with fishing on Sunday the 19th and the Awards Party Sunday evening. This year all festivities occur under the VBBT tent at the Southside of Rudee Inlet. Wine, Women and Fishing has donated more than $180,000.000 to the EVMS Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.

Sunday August 19, 2012 7-11pm (Scales open at 5pm and the boats begin arriving in the inlet)

Fishing; lines in and out of the water 8:30am–3pm
Dock Party 5pm – 7pm – Scales open at 5pm. Watch the decorated boats come in to the weigh station while enjoying refreshments!

Entry Fee

Registration is $700.00 per team for up to six lady anglers on a boat. Each team receives an invitation to the Registration Party, six tickets to the all inclusive Awards Banquet and a goody bag and t-shirt for each angler. Each team is responsible for the charter fees, tipping, as well as any additional tickets for the Awards Banquet. Entry fees must be received by July 15, 2012. Late entry fee is $800.00.

Scoring and Trophies

Trophies are given for first, second and third place. In addition, trophies are awarded for largest tuna, dolphin and wahoo, as well as for the Craziest Crew, Top Junior Angler, Hard Luck Crew and Top Lady Angler.
