There are just under 1,000 cases of this glorious Pinot, which comes across like a premier cru from the Cote de Beaune. Dark plum/ruby-tinged with sweet kirsch, pomegranate, raspberry, and dusty, loamy soil scents, this medium to full-bodied, elegant, pure wine is totally captivating. It is everything a top-notch Pinot Noir should be. RP 91 (2 bottles)
Williams Selyem Bucher Vineyards 2005
Medium red. Very elegant on the nose, with lively raspberry and wild strawberry aromas underpinned by zesty mineral and white flower notes. Round and silky on the palate, showing a deep, almost jammy raspberry quality and very gentle tannins. Finishes with excellent flavor expansion and length, leaving behind an almost sappy red fruit impression. Stephen Tanzer IWC 92

Bright red. Vibrant strawberry and raspberry on the nose, with a sexy jolt of fresh rose and cinnamon. The energetic red berry and cherry flavors show impressive depth, with fine-grained tannins giving support. Finishes bright, quite broad and long. Stephen Tanzer IWC 90
