Jonata La Flor 2005
This 100% Sauvignon Blan was aged 10 months in 25% new and 75% two-year old French oak. This beautiful wine reveals aromas and flavors of melons, mangoes, honeyed grapefruit, figs, and earth. Medium-bodied, with superb fruit intensity, excellent purity, and good underlying acidity, its acid profile, richness, and time in wood give the wine a white Graves-like style. RP 91
Jonata el Alma Santa Ynez Valley 2004
Ruby-red with smoky plum and cherry on the nose, this wine has complicating botanical herb and underbrush qualities. It has tangy red berry flavors, firm tannins and a dusty finish.
Jonata la Miel NV
This wine has a green-tinged gold color and expansive, exotically perfumed bouquet of mango, pineapple, coconut and caramel, with a zesty floral undertone. Spicy tropical and pit fruit flavors are sweetened by caramel and floral honey qualities, with a jolt of orange pit on the back end. It is an endlessly complex wine that finishes with strong echoes of coconut and caramel. Stephen Tanzer IWC 93
Jonata El Desafio 2004
A blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Merlot, the 2004 El Desafio de Jonata’s dark ruby/purple hue is followed by aromas of mocha, créme de cassis, pain grille, and a touch of espresso, superb fruit on the attack, a deep, full-bodied mouthfeel, good underlying acidity, and sweet, seamlessly integrated tannin. Jonata la Sangre 2004
This wine is made of 100% Syrah and has been aged for 19 months in 60% new French oak and 40% two-year old French wood. It offers beautiful chocolate, blackberry, charcoal, acacia flower, and roasted meat characteristics, rich, full-bodied flavors, lovely purity, refreshing acids, and ripe tannin. RP 94
Jonata la Poesia Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2005
This is ripe and zesty, with vibrant black cherry and wild berry fruit that’s elegant and refined, ending with a juicy fruit aftertaste.
