Ramey Diamond Mountain Red 2003

The wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petit Verdot and comes from an 11-acre gravel/clay vineyard on Diamond Mountain. Dense and full-bodied with huge, concentrated, smoky black currant fruit intermixed with deep, chewy, coffee notes as well as black fruits. RP 91+

Ramey Jericho Canyon Vineyard Proprietary Red 2003

The wine is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. This is David Ramey’s homage to Pauillac. With a big sweet nose of white chocolate, creme de cassis, cedar, spice box, and high-quality smoky oak, it is full-bodied, rich, and tannic with notes of chocolate and espresso in the mouth. RP 93 (1 bottle)

Ramey Jericho Canyon Vineyard Proprietary Red 2005

The final vintage for this cuvee, the 2005 offers a Graves-like personality of chocolate, charcoal, and black currants as well as a sumptuous, full-bodied palate, and a layered, multi-dimensional finish. RP 95

Ramey Pedregal 2005

This Screaming Eagle look-alike is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot. Beautifully pure creme de cassis fruit is interwoven with notions of spring flowers, espresso roast, and truffles that jump from the glass of this wine. It has wonderfully sweet, expansive fruit flavors, a massive, full-bodied palate, and superb elegance as well as purity. RP 96 (5 bottles)

Ramey Larkmead 2005

The wine is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, and 9% Merlot and possesses abundant amounts of creme de cassis, cedar, roasted herbs, and spice. This is an attractive Cabernet that should drink well for 15-20 years. RP 91
