It is broad and jammy, offering sweet dark berry flavors and a slow-building cocoa quality and finishes supple and sweet, with a repeating licorice note and zesty mineral and spice qualities. Moving up in price as well as quality are the firm’s regional expressions of Shiraz, all of which can be unhesitatingly recommended. It possesses firm tannin along with hints of red and black fruits, and good acidity. RP 90+

Two Hands Gnarly Dudes 2005

This wine delivers notes of pepper, violets, blueberry, and blackberry. This leads to a full-bodied wine with excellent blue fruit flavors and bright acidity. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, the finish long and pure. RP 90

This wine is medium gold-colored with a honeyed, marmalade perfume and is fat and sweet on the palate.

Two Hands Brave Faces 2006

The 2006 Shiraz is slightly muted aromatically but notes of cedar, spice box, and blueberry make an appearance. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with ample bright fruit. It is supple-textured, and well-balanced.

Two Hands Lily’s Garden 2006

This wine comes from McLaren Vale and it reveals a complex aromatic array including balsam wood, spice box, violets, earth notes, pepper, blueberry, and blackberry. It has outstanding grip, depth, and a lengthy, pure finish. RP 92

Two Hands Brilliant Disguise Moscato 2008

This wine offers a delectable nose of spring flowers, honey, and baking spices. On the palate it is off dry and slightly effervescent in the style of Moscato d’Asti along with lively acidity and low (7%) alcohol. It is a candidate for booty-call wine of the year. RP 90
