Quilceda Creek Palengat Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
The wine contains 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Purple-colored, and offers up a splendid perfume of wood smoke, spice box, espresso, violets, black currant, and blackberry. Full-bodied, plush, and concentrated, it is already revealing considerable complexity despite the youth of the vines. In spite of its size, the wine manages to retain a sense of elegance, a trademark of all of Quilceda Creek’s wines. RP 95
Quilceda Creek Galitzine Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Dark ruby/purple in color, this wine delivers an enticing nose of pain grille, earth notes, spice box, violets, and assorted black fruits. On the palate it is dense, ripe, full-bodied, and structured. RP 96
Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
This flagship Cabernet contains 3% Merlot. This multi-dimensional offering surrenders an inviting bouquet of sandalwood, Asian spices, violets, truffle, black currant, and blackberry. Seamless on the palate with no hard edges, it is mouth-coating, powerful, and exceptionally light on its feet all at the same time. It is impeccably balanced and with plenty of fine-grained tannin in the background. The entire portfolio is a tour de force! RP 100
