These distinctively styled wines offer the power and exuberance of the fruit grown in this region along with a structured, delineated style. These are all big wines, with the reds fashioned from innovative blends and displaying significant aging potential.

L’Aventure Optimus Proprietary Red 2007

The sexiy offering is a blend of 45% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Petit Verdot. This wine gushes with blackberry and cassis fruit, smoky, burning embers, charcoal, and toasty new oak. Full-bodied and powerful with supple tannins and an overall impression of voluptuousness as well as extravagant fruit and opulence. RP 95

L’Aventure Estate Cuvee 2007

The wine is a blend of 44% Syrah, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 19% Petit Verdot and is big and dense. Full-bodied with abundant notes of creme de cassis, blackberries, smoke, graphite, and charcoal, a dense, layered beautifully textured effort. RP 95

L’Aventure Cote a Cote 2007This blockbuster is made of 40% Grenache, 40% Mourvedre, and 20% Syrah and boasts a dense purple color as well as a provocative bouquet of jammy black cherries, coffee beans, smoked meats, lavender, and spice. It is dense and opulent with a voluptuous texture, tremendous concentration, a layered finish, and abundant tannin (all well-concealed by the cascade of fruit and glycerin).  RP 95
